We’re seeking a System Administrator with Salesforce experience to join the new IT team supporting the Trust’s Membership and Donation Services system.
We’re currently building a new team that will support our new Membership and Donation Services, using the market-leading Salesforce platform and associated applications. This is an opportunity to be part of delivering a transformed service to support engagement with our Members and Supporters and this is core to what we do as an organisation. We’re investing in Salesforce and expect to do more and more with the platform in future (including use of Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud products). We’ll be growing a team to support all of this, so there will be opportunity to learn about more of the Salesforce product set over time.
Salary: Please note the advertised salary is inclusive of a £10,000 reviewable market supplement. Your base salary will be circa. £38,000 and you will receive the market supplement as an allowance.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve regular travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.
What you'll be doing:In this role, you'll be working in a new IT team supporting, maintaining and developing the Trust’s new Membership and Donation Services system. Based on Salesforce Service Cloud, the complete solution includes several other third-party or native Salesforce applications, all of which will need managing and supporting to a high standard. You'll be involved in all elements of supporting and maintaining these applications. It’s a big task, promising plenty of variety and stimulating challenges along the way. Being a team player, you’ll form close working relationships with colleagues, third parties and internal stakeholders, offering support for applications and systems that have been developed by others. We want to be providing the very best solutions in the most effective way while ensuring that we’re meeting our IT standards. As an enthusiastic problem solver, used to working in sandbox and production support environments, you’ll be ready to support and resolve technical issues, providing valuable input at every step of the project lifecycle to ensure that we’re supporting and producing innovative systems that we can be proud of.
Who we're looking forTo be successful in this role you will need to have:
· A solid track record of supporting, maintaining and enhancing in a sandbox and production Salesforce environment.
· Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or demonstrable experience across the breadth of the application in a real-world environment.
· Direct experience of Service Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack or Salesforce Shield would be highly relevant.
· Experience of working with Findock, Copado, OwnBackup would be particularly beneficial, or experience of supporting other ISV applications associated with Salesforce.
· Demonstrable experience of first/second line user support and the ability to troubleshoot and own an incident/request from conception through to completion.
· Experience or qualification in ITIL – incident, problem and change management.
· Experience of ‘self-starting’, managing and prioritising your own workload.
· Close attention to detail and the ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.
· Knowledge of data protection and privacy (GDPR).
· Strong track record of teamwork, collaborative working, communications and stakeholder management.
· A knowledge and interest in technology delivery and how this enables the Trust’s core purpose and strategy.
