Cloud Systems Engineer (Software Support) - up to 40k - fully remote UK Wide.
We are working with one of our award winning clients within the legal/financial sector, who are looking for an Cloud Systems Engineer to join their evergrowing team!
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Essential
- Experience working with application/software support
- Experience of managing complex IT infrastructure environments to defined SLAs based on Microsoft technologies
- Experience of managing, deploying and optimizing a multi-tenant cloud environment
- Working knowledge of managing, documenting and implementing technical product integrations of 3rd party applications
- Managing and driving change to hosting provision
Technical skills to include:
- Windows Server administration
- Advanced Windows OS Troubleshooting
- Azure
- Sharepoint Administration
- Virtualisation Environments
- Monitoring Tools
- Active Directory Federation Services
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
Desirable
- Experience in Microsoft technologies including Dynamics CRM and Azure Cloud Services
- AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
- MS-900 MS365 Fundamentals
- ITIL v4
Responsibilities
- Acting as escalation to the Customer Support team with incident/problem diagnosis and rectification
- Resolve incidents and problems and provide appropriate timely escalations
- Performing regular software updates and upgrades
- Performing routine daily checks, triage and work to resolve any issues.
- Performing regular software updates and upgrades either remotely or at customer sites
- Performing customer deployment activities
- Producing and maintaining documentation on infrastructure requirements for CX and CX365 Platforms including Hardware and Software (Systems Software) Statement of Works
- Building and managing key strategic relationships with their third-party service, hosting and product partners and providers; working with them both on technical product integration matters and cloud service delivery enhancement.
- Delivering system design oversight for customers and partners deploying CX and CX 365 software in a cloud environment
- Management of on-premise / dedicated clients where IT Operations provides support and maintenance.
- Promoting and maximising the IT Operations offering to their existing customers and new prospective customers
- Contributing to a continual improvement programme of the products and service enhancements
- Activities will be a mixed blend of Project work for in-flight customers and BAU activity for live customers
