Role Overview
We have an opportunity to join our Finance Services Team. Reporting into our Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager, this role will take responsibility for administering the Accounts Payable (AP) activities within the Procure to Pay (P2P) process. You will ensure AP systems are maintained effectively to allow for accurate reporting and efficient order placement. You will support the placement and amendment of Purchase Orders and ensure that invoices are processed and paid.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent communication: oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills (Excel advance - Vlookup, pivot tables, macros) with quick navigation skills on systems.
- Ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivating
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Quick to grasp new processes, procedures, and concepts.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience working in an AP Assistant role or equivalent.
- Be able to demonstrate well-developed planning & organising abilities.
- Possess excellent Excel skills with proven track record of extensive use on a day to day basis
- Good working knowledge of Open Accounts
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
