Electrical and Electronics Technician

Full time, open ended at a starting salary of £27,396 to £32,141 per annum plus additional market supplement of £4,192 available depending on individual to be confirmed on offer of appointment.
The postholder will be undertaking varied and interesting electrical and electronic engineering duties including: fault diagnosis and repairs to electrical and electronic equipment, developing and making specialised electrical/electronic apparatus and installing and commissioning electrical and electronic equipment. Work will include supporting staff and students in setting up electrical and electronic aspects of experiments for teaching, research and enterprise purposes, including managing safety checks. The post is part of the team of 14 technical staff based in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering.
You will have significant experience of electrical and electronic engineering in a multi-disciplinary workshop and will have a high level of accuracy, flexibility and dependability.
