The Company:
We are a leading consultancy group that offers expertise across the full spectrum of accountancy, tax, legal and financial services. As a privately owned business, we have grown significantly since 2015 and now have offices in Central London, Horsham, Scunthorpe and the Northeast. With all offices within our group offering a friendly and hardworking environment, we are looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant into our group to support the Group Accountancy Function.
The Role:
We are looking for a hard-working individual with excellent attention to detail to provide support to the Group Accountancy function. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the One Consultancy Groups, Group Accountant.
Specific Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant.
- Provide ongoing support to the Group Accountancy function
- Post supplier invoices and raise customer invoices as required
- Post bank receipts and payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Post petty cash journals
- Take lead on group debt reconciliation by liaising with department heads around the group to ensure debt is recovered
- Management of the groups direct debit services and payments.
- Ad hoc tasks as required

- Experience working in a role which required a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary.
- The ability to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to work on your initiative as well as part of a team.
- You need to be organised and ensure that daily administrative tasks completed. Planning and multi-tasking skills are essential in this role.
- You will need to demonstrate a passion for providing excellent service, going above and beyond expectations and developing professional working relationships with your team members.
- A high level of IT Proficiency in Microsoft office programmes is required. Training in additional systems, such as Sage will be provided.
- Sage Accounts Line 50 experience would be advantageous but not essential.
