Experience / Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Computing/IT or a related field, or have equivalent IT industry experience
- Prince2 or equivalent desirable
- Experience in the supply chain and/or consumer retail industry
- Management of a capable team of specialists to deliver outcomes
- Ability to deliver significant / complex levels of change
- Experienced in successfully leading projects and programs to time, cost and quality
- Experience in managing Key stakeholders and suppliers.
About the role
Purpose
The Technology team is delivering on its vision to provide strategic solutions in line with key transformation projects within all areas of the business. In order to
deliver the significant levels of change in the most effective way, the correct sequence whilst minimising the level of disruption to business requires a high
degree of planning and management. Previously the level of change has meant that IT has resourced contractors to support project planning, however ongoing
requirement to deliver a higher level of change across multiple channels, business and technical environments has led to the need to recruit an IT Project
Manager.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Responsible for leading teams across multiple sites to deliver projects that unlock significant value & efficiencies.
- Responsible for managing resources, plans, quality stage gates and deployment of the business change
- Responsible for company wide rollouts of technology Initially but not exclusively within our supply chain
- Responsible for the full project lifecycle from initiation to the implementation and handover to Service Delivery
- Responsible for preparing the estimates and project plans, working with the Business Partner community to ensure delivery and high levels of
engagement.
- Responsible for the day to day activities of the projects including: project scope, change, risks, issues and dependencies
Working patterns
37.5 Hours Per Week
Monday - Friday
This role is a hybrid working role, 2/3 days based in our Group Support Centre in Doncaster with the remainder of the days worked remotely
