Main duties and responsibilities:
- To recruit, manage and effectively develop the quality control team in accordance with site policies and procedures
- To ensure effective quality control staff cover
- To ensure full adherence to Angus Soft Fruits quality management system
- To support Angus Soft Fruits customer visits and audits
- To be responsible for internal audits and implementation of corrective actions
- To supervise the preparation of customer samples as required
- To ensure efficient document control and distribution of current documents
- To ensure adherence to Angus Soft Fruits residue testing schedule
- To ensure daily stock quality monitoring
- To participate in daily stock selection and management
- To ensure estimated waste is updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders
- To maintain safe and clean work areas
- To complete all documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes
- To work collaboratively with other departments.
- To attend relevant meetings and cascade information to teams as appropriate.
- To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal developments.
- To fully participate in the development and achievement of the Salford Priors Team Vision.
- To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in fresh produce
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to live ASF Values

Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £26,747.00-£28,584.00 per year
