- Performing discovery, lead generation and qualification of opportunities for the business development team
- Providing financial analysis on prospective clients
- Supporting BD team throughout commercial deal process, managing advance analysis process and providing advice, and working cross-functionally with the wider Downtown Group
- Providing up-to-date reporting for commercial team on advances, deals, and regional performance
- Supporting commercial and other negotiations where required
- Researching existing revenue, catalogue, and marketing trends from existing client base and surfacing opportunities to BD team
- Acting as a liaison between stakeholders on behalf of the BD team and other data centric teams in marketing, product, and finance to work on combined projects
- Creating financial and other data points for business reviews
- Providing analytical support for the Licensing Team team, and supporting other teams as required
- Advanced analytical skills
- Experience with financial analysis and translating data into easy to digest visualisations, e.g. through dashboards
- Expertise in creating and improving financial models
- Comfortable working across time zones with international team in fast paced commercial environment
- Strong communicator, fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Financially literate with advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets and business information systems
- Experience with SQL and Python, or the willingness to learn
