Overview:
With its Head Office based in Sherburn in Elmet and subsidiary offices in Luton and Bathgate, SNB Electronic Services Ltd are one of the largest independent suppliers of inspection equipment to the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. Based from our Luton Office an opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to develop and expand the company’s customer base across the UK. Working closely with other teams the key objective of this position is to grow the existing customer base. This role would suit an outgoing self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a small team.
Job Purpose:
As the Internal Sales Executive your key responsibility is to generate new business leads and to promote the company’s services and products to customers. Working closely with the field Sales team this role will cover the UK. As part of this you will be required to maintain the central sales data base ensuring completeness of information including customer details, lead generation activity and enquiry details. Whilst most of the activity will be carried out at our Luton office occasional visits to our other offices will be required. All work will need to be completed to a high-quality standard and to the current good practises. As part of this you will be required to undertake other aspects of SNB’s activity as business needs dictate.
Key Duties:
· Proactively promote the businesses services and products to new and existing customers.
· To generate new business leads with lead qualification.
· Handle customer enquiries in a professional and effective manner.
· Record all activity and maintain information on the central data base.
· To work closely with the Field Sales team.
· Completing all documentation accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the company procedures.
· Direct sales including B2B telesales, email and marketing to increasing brand awareness.
· Researching the market; Food, Pharmaceutical, Packaging and Textiles industry.
· Increasing product and technical knowledge.
· Working with the Service Engineers to map out their cold calling visits and record activity.
· Providing quotes for new-build machines, rentals, calibrations, services and repairs.
Requirements:
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
- IT Literate, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Must be prepared to learn about the industry and the company’s products.
- Track-record of success in a similar role.
- Full current UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry is desirable
Salary: Staff Position withBasic Salary dependent upon experience

Pension: Contributory Company Pension Scheme
Holiday Entitlement: 22 days per calendar year + UK Bank Holidays.
