An exciting position has become available at the former RAF Upwood site in our fast expanding embroidery department. We are looking for an organised individual to assist our embroiderer quickly and efficiently.
Experience is not essential as full training will be given, however applicants should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines.
Training to become an embroiderer is available to the right person.
Main Duties
- Preparing the embroidery machines for operation.
- Ensuring the correct designs and thread colours are used.
- Organisation of garments to be prepared for the embroidery process.
- Finishing the embroidered items.
- Quality control of all aspects of application.
- Finishing and packing of embroidered items.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of the embroidery machines.
Skills
- Experience on our specific machines isn't essential however a good understanding of the embroidery process would be beneficial. Full training will be given to assist the embroiderer.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organised in the workplace.
- Experience in a fast paced, production environment is essential.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Friendly, flexible, positive and self motivated.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50 per hour
