THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a full-time Junior Developer to work at their head office in Leeds Dock. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Senior Developer to develop and deliver unique creative projects. They will also be required to write clean, lean, and well-documented code, help maintain existing client and internal websites, and liaise with account managers and their design team on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Senior Developer to develop and deliver unique creative projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years of experience in WordPress, custom theme development, custom plugin and functionality development, hooks, actions, filters, and utilizing theme functions, and custom post types and taxonomies.
- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, PHP, Sass or SCSS, JavaScript knowledge, and knowledge of popular JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
- Skills with responsive and mobile techniques and ability to debug front-end site issues using inspector tools.
DESIRABLES
- Experience working with APIs and integrations.
- Awareness of SEO and Accessibility Standards.
- Previous experience working with ACF blocks in Gutenberg and using git and git deploy methods.
