Job Title: Night Concierge/Security Officer
Location: Bristol
Hourly Rate: £10.40
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 32 hours per week plus overtime
Work Pattern:
Fixed Shifts
- Thursday- 01.00am – 09.00am
- Friday- 01.00am – 09.00am
- Saturday- 01.00am – 09.00am
- Sunday- 01.00am – 09.00am
* Required to be flexible to work evenings, nights and weekends, 8 hour shifts on a rolling rota: 17.00pm – 01.00am and 01.00am – 09.00am*
JOB ROLE:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Night Concierge/Security Officer to join our friendly and committed team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the safety & security of our customers and building. This will include carrying out checks on areas of the building as required and tackling security issues causing minimum disruption to our customers. No SIA license required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting and greeting our guests upon arrival
- Providing a first-class service to all guest and visitors
- Supporting our guests with out of hours queries i.e., minor/reactive maintenance issues
- Regular patrols of the building to ensure safety and uphold cleaning standards
- Distribution of post and parcels
- Monitor CCTV footage
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- To assist emergency services in cases of emergency
- Inspect property to protect against fire theft vandalism and illegal activity.
- Open and lock all gymnasiums and communal areas according to the agreed timetable.
- Complete agreed paperwork.
- Show good judgement and common sense.
- Sign Study Inn Visitors in and out of the building.
- Ensure that all the Company’s rules and regulations are followed by our students
- Complete cleaning tasks during shift as per line managers requirement’s.
- Empty waste bins as per line managers requirement’s.
- Anything else from time to time you may be asked to do.
- Ensure that you are in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 1-year experience in a previous Security or Hotel Hall/Night Porter role is desirable
- Experience of working in an accommodation environment such as a Hotel is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clear communication skills.
- Impeccable presentation.
- An outstanding can-do attitude and the desire to work as a member of a team.
