The Compliance and Monitoring Officer will undertake core activities to support the WEA`s income generation strategy, in particular ensuring compliance with and recording of project and contract documentation. You will ensure the project progress is maintained and risks are identified, reported and managed.
You will work closely with Business Development Managers, Finance Business Partners and Education and project colleagues, as well as liaising with departments across the Association supporting continuous process improvement.
You will provide support to colleagues to ensure that all projects and contracts are compliant with funders` terms and conditions - Ensuring all funding is reported accurately.
As a Compliance and Monitoring Officer, you will support the successful delivery of projects and contracts, particularly supporting the collation of auditable documentation as evidence for projects, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and deadlines. You will also work closely with key stakeholders in relation to the set up and closure of contracts and projects as required.
Assisting and supporting project monitoring using reporting tools, frameworks and systems to ensure accurate and up to date records of projects are maintained in accordance with the funder terms and conditions and WEA processes and procedures.
You will assist WEA Compliance Managers to support partner organisations and sub-contractors in accordance with the funding terms and WEA compliance requirements. Whilst supporting the preparation of audits, ensuring all evidence is available for grant and contract funders audit monitoring visits.
About you:
As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you should have;
- An NVQ level 3 or demonstratable experience;
- Experience of contract and project administration;
- Experience of building and maintaining internal and external relationships;
- Competent when using I.T and Microsoft packages;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other;
