Over the past year, HCMUK has seen sustained growth and we’re now looking for a Production Parts Assistant to join our Team working at our Hebburn Depot.
The basic hours for the role are 40 per week working Monday – Friday, although overtime and weekend work can be expected during busy periods. You will be responsible for creating purchase orders for production parts in line with production demand, you will also be required to booked parts to production jobs and check and book incoming goods.
You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be communicating with suppliers to chase existing orders, arrange returns and place new orders, whilst also communicating effectively with internal stakeholders. As part of this you will be required to complete several reports, including returns reports, as well as information on parts returns from both production and service, and also provide information for the production tracker report.
As the Production Parts Assistant, you should have 3 years in a demonstrable parts role, with experience in stocktaking and checking outgoing parts to ensure accuracy of orders and returns. You will need to have excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Ideally you should also have a Counterbalance/Reach Forklift License, along with a full UK Driving licence.
