The successful Operations Manager will be responsible for the deliver of leading-edge products and support to customers whilst supporting growth objectives. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a highly skilled team. The ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a dynamic setting. The role requires outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions. The Operations Manager will work closely with the senior management team strategize and develop long-term plans that create new levels of productivity and success for the company.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day Production and Dispatch targets. Working with the Production Planner, Production Coordinator and Engineering Manager to support the on-going development of the manufacturing strategy within the business.
Additionally, the Operations Manager holds responsibility for:
- Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Coordinate with the other teams for order planning, supplier and purchase order coordination and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Manager to identify inefficient designs, materials, components to improve production output and efficiencies to build and test orders.
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager to identify quoting and sales issues related to order turn around and profitability with a focus on lead times and pricing.
- Drive, motivate and manage the shop floor employees, ensuring an efficient operational structure and working environment and there is a clear vision and targets.
