The Genomic Laboratory at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront of NHS Genomic Medicine, providing state-of-the-art diagnostic testing that utilises specialist gene panel, exome and genome analyses to make diagnoses for the benefit of families with rare diseases across the UK and beyond. The Exeter and Bristol Genetics/Genomics Laboratories are working in partnership as the South West Genomic Laboratory Hub, with the Exeter Laboratory focused on specialist endocrine services, exome analysis and a new rapid whole genome service. Collaboration and translation of research findings to diagnostic services is facilitated by sharing purpose-built accommodation with the University of Exeter Medical School Genomics teams. Further details of the diagnostic service and research interests can be found on our websites.
