Don Papa is not a regular Rum with a regular marketing model. This is an evolved brand building model for Diageo with a need to retain a very distinctive visual magic; true Filipino culture from a London based team, requiring diversity in talent and thinking, and a brand that acts (80% of all they do), and then share those acts with a consistent visual/luxury execution.
Don Papa is super-premium single island dark rum from the Philippines, gaining traction in fast growing European markets thanks to its unique flavor profile, distinctive brand world design, and authentic brand story (Filipino culture)
Plays in SP price point (IWSR: €30-40/btl), a price point with strong growth potential (14% 2020-24 CAGR expected), and where Diageo is currently under-represented2, with 6% CY20 share of SP rum per IWSR.
Purpose of the Role:
This role is about driving fame, and building quality, for the Don Papa by inspiring engaging and educating internal and external customers, media and partners to creating more brand advocates, more sales.

Creating Possibilities – share the Bao vision, and be an advocate that creates belief and action in others.
Ability to influence a very broad range of stakeholders, internally and externally (media and customers and bartenders and KOLs) Ability to act with agility across diverse programs Entrepreneurship to identify and create the programs needed for the audiences.
Ability to be a credible industry leader, and build trust, confidence & excitement for Don Papa.
Delivery and evolution of the brand ambassador strategy and execution
Partner with markets for engagement with Global & Local Influencing accounts
Expert partner for Don Papa brand home in serve, menu creation, rituals,
Capability lead for Rum internally & Externally
A voice of Don Papa for global & local media (traditional and digital)
DBA: Content development and delivery in partnership with DBA team and agencies
Partner with markets to develop serve strategies and brand engagement programs with the trade / at events, incl. market implementation support.
