Rapier Employment are currently seeking Drivers Mates for our Home Delivery client based in Darlington for ongoing and adhoc work.
For this role you will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of Darlington and must be flexible in working weekends.
Rates of Pay:
Standard Rate £10.96
Overtime after 48 hours £16.44
ROLE INFORMATION:
A usual shift consists of the delivery of furniture and white goods to customers in their home alongside a Driver. It is a physically demanding role. You will need to be customer engaging with a friendly, professional personality. This is a 7 day operation and will involve working a Saturday or a Sunday, start times are either 6am or 10am.
You will average from 20- 35hrs per week over a period of three days with more shifts available dependant on volume. You will need to be flexibile to cover holidays and sickness at very short notice.
YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- Will require PPE, Safety Boots Footwear, High Vis
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Flexible to cover sickness and holidays
