Job Description
We’re looking for a permanent, full time Painter/decorator. To carry out and assist with all trade related tasks as a Painter and Decorator working as (but not restricted to) part of a customer focused Capital Works Team.

Salary: £28,501.62
Location: Thetford, Newmarket, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, and surrounding areas.
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00-17:00, Fridays only 08:00-14:30

The role involves being responsible for the effective and efficient repairs of all Painting duties, including all associated works within both occupied and void properties using the required tools.
The hours of work will be 40 per week, flexible working and job-share will be considered. The area covered is Thetford, Newmarket, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, and surrounding areas.
Please note that you will be required to drive to multiple different places of work. However a company vehicle will be provided
Duties
· Responsible for the effective delivery of painting and decoration including all preparation works; filling, sanding, painting, priming, glossing and overall decoration within void, responsive and planned repair services.
· You will ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
· You will manage customer enquiries, responding in a professional manner coordinating with our Operations Centre
Candidates must have the following:
- Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience with Painting.
- A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry.
- Full Valid UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health and Safety.
