- 1 permanent Accountant based in Bournemouth - part qualified

We are a dynamic team of accountants responsible for external reporting for the Allianz UK companies as well as interpreting and implementing new accounting standards across the Group. As a team we are responsible for statutory reporting including being the first point of contact for our auditor and Regulatory reporting including Solvency II.
We have a close relationship with our group accounting colleagues in Munich ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements. Being part of a large group provides us with the opportunity to get involved in worldwide projects and foster state of the art technical knowledge through collaboration.
As an industry and in the finance sector we are in the midst of an exciting period as a result of significant changes to relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Accountant in producing group reporting
- Contribute towards the preparation of the 2023 statutory accounts
- Assist the Financial Accountant with Solvency II reporting
- Liaise with the auditors on queries
Skills & Experience
- A high degree of analytical skills
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and a proven track record of meeting reporting deadlines
- Working knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle desirable
- Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
