CAMPARI UK EXPORT BUSINESS
The UK Export team works with distributor partners across 16 market (Nordics, Baltics, Poland, Ireland and the Caucasus and Central Asian) to build long term sustainable brands in line with Global priorities and plays a pivotal role in delivering business objectives for the business unit, North Central and Eastern Europe.
Role Overview
Campari Group is looking for a Consumer Engagement Manager to join the UK Export team
The purpose of this role is to get closer to consumers through data driven consumer focus marketing initiatives at scale. As part of Campari Groups digital transformation, we need to strengthen our social, digital and media presence across the region ensuring this is fully integrated into the wider marketing plans to deliver best in class consumer experience through 360 omni-channel plans. As part of a company’s wide digital transformation project this role is integral to transforming how we work with our distributors enabling us to get closer to the consumer, building more insight and understanding and deliver better consumer experience, especially across our four priority markets Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Ireland.
The successful candidate will report into the Marketing Manager for UK Exports and work closely with the marketing teams in our distributor partners, with local agencies, area managers and the global team. The role is based in London and requires regular travel to the markets but with flexible home/office working arrangements when in the UK.
- Insight & Trends
- Responsible for supporting the brand team with gaining insights using digital tools such as Sprinklr, Google Trends, Google Analytics and other.
- Responsible for taking the lead in the UK Export Business with regards to seeking out new digital tools, trends, and techniques that might be of benefit to our business and brands, and sharing learnings and recommedations with the broader business.
- Planning & Activation

- Responsible for: global Brand websites local strategy and SEO opportunities, E-CRM, Digital Asset Management Tool & Data Data/Analytics Management.
- Consult for:- Exeriential, On trade trial activity content creation and adaption (Group Brand Team and UK Export MM responsible) especially to integrate with paid and owned plans
- Paid
- Responsible for all paid media activties, campaign asset development & adaptation for ‘brand campaigns and always on strategies (Global Marketing Team & agencies)
- Consult for: Non-digital campaign asset development (focus brands), paid social, e-comm and media spend in relationship with countries, agencies and local distributors.
- Earned
- Consult for: PR and Influencer activity especially to integrate with paid and owned plans
- Evaluation
- Responsible for setting KPIs for our digital activity that align with our business and brand objectives, and for the thorough evalution of own activities. Also responsible for making recommendations for how we can further drive the effectiveness of all of our digital activity. This is a big area of focus for our business.
- As part of this, the candidate will have the responsibility of managing the relationship with specialist agencies in this area such as Mindshare & Invention.
- Identifying and share best practices across markets and regions to continously educate the team and local distributors on what’s working
- Financial Management
- Responsible for managing the relevant A&P budgets as per the above activities.
- Collaboration/Relationships
- The candidate needs to work in close collaboration with other members of the UK Export team, UK marketing teams and relevant Group functions and (Marketing, Marketing Capabilities, IT).
- The candidate wil be the ‘point person’ within the UK Export business for digital marketing across the markets. This is particularly relevant at the moment as we have embarked on a Group wide digital transformation project.

Experience and Skills
Experience:
- 5+ years of ‘rounded’ experience in online and digital marketing.
- Experience of working in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Strong capabilities in all areas of digital marketing, with particular strengths in paid media (mainly digital), websites, SEO, and E-CRM.
- Needs to be a proven expert within the defined areas of responsibility, and also be able to clearly identify how these activities fit within the broader business and brand strategies
- Exeptional ability to cummunicate cross-functionally in a fast paced environment.
- Proven track record of creating, executing, and continually optimising successful campaigns.
- Expertise in using social listening tools, with experience of Sprinklr a bonus.
- Relevant experience in FMCG, though not necessarily in Spirits/Beverage category.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communication or equivalent is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent agency / partners management skills
- Robust experience in stakeholder management, both local and across other cultures, internal and external.
- Working knowledge of the main digital media platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager / Ad servers, Facebook Business Manager, YouTube and Online Video networks, Programmatic buying platforms like Google DV 360, MS Dynamics, Ad verification tools like MOAT, Double Verify, …), social listening / publishing platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Socialbakers, Hootsuite, Brandwatch …), Google analytics, SEO tools (e.g. SemRush, Kwfinder, Search Console,…), content performance management tools (e.g. CreativeX, DAM …), CRM systems
- Accustomed to digital media jargon and KPIs (e.g. CPM, CPC, engagement rate, frequency cap, audience targeting, viewability, link clicks, 3s views, …)
- Previous experience leveraging and assessing data for key online insights (e.g. social listening, sentiment analysis, KPIs like mentions, hashtag, engagement rate, reach, …), SEO optimization, content efficacy assessment (e.g. visibility, engagement rates, formats, lengths optimization rules, …)
- Be the reference point in the digital and media marketing space, being up to date on latest channels, buying methods, ad units.

EDUCATION
- Minimum of degree level or equivalent
- Marketing Qualification preferred (CIM or similar)
