About the role:
The postholder will be responsible for editing and uploading new content to the website, migrating content from various microsites, alongside day-to-day edits and changes as required by Museum activities.
They will collaborate with colleagues across the Museum, but especially in marketing, news, membership, interpretation and learning and national partnerships to ensure content is delivered in a clear, consistent and in the most impactful way for different audiences. They will support the Website Content Manager in implementing improvements to the website to help support the Museum’s wider communications strategy.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Monitoring and actioning the web support inbox and event publishing calendar, maintaining our service level agreements (SLAs).
- Producing, editing and uploading content for the website into the Drupal CMS
- Attending photo/video shoots as and when required.
- Maintaining and developing content where required.
- Archiving and or deleting content where required.
- Optimising web content to align with SEO and accessibility standards, helping other content writers across the Museum on SEO and accessibility best practice
