Overview

The Product Localization team is looking for a Translator from EN to FR (French Native-Speaker) for marketing and product localization (part-time position). #LI-Recruiter #LI-CG1

Responsibilities

Trans create and/or post-edit/review machine-translated web site content
Trans create and/or post-edit/review machine-translated marketing collaterals
Review marketing transcreations and translations done by vendors
Assess the quality of the vendors’ deliverables
Create/Maintain translation memories and terminology databases
While your focus will be marketing and the web, you may also be asked to:
- Localize Planview products’ user interfaces
- Perform linguistic and functional tests
- Report and assist with resolution of linguistic issues
- Translate support materials and eLearning modules

Qualifications

University degree in translation or translation diploma from a recognized translation school or equivalent degree/qualification
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience in transcreating for marketing and the web (software localization would be a plus)
Provide excellent stylistic command and great accuracy, even under pressure
Proficient in RWS Trados Studio, RWS Passolo, and Microsoft Word (familiarity with RWS MultiTerm and Microsoft Excel would be a plus)
Self-motivated, highly committed, team-player, quality-conscious and a fast learner
