MUST be NHS IAPT Trained.

My Life Counselling UK are excited to announce that we are looking for a BABCP/BACP registered counsellor. We are giving the opportunity to a qualified therapist to join our expanding therapy practice on a self-employed basis.
The suitable candidate would be eager to learn, flexible and is qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling
Candidates who are qualified and have experience in working with adults, children, and learning difficulties are desirable. Candidates must have a minimum of 200 face to face client hours, be highly enthusiastic, motivated, and organised.
A degree in Psychology or Counselling is desired, however, candidates without a degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
The candidate will be qualified in Depression, all anxiety disorders including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Panic Disorder. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Body Dysmorphia, and Eating Disorders.
Applicants must have a commitment to safeguarding, managing risk including suicide and self-harm.
Applicants can engage with the client used evidence-based theoretical interventions including CBT and counselling skills.
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal skills. Candidates must be able to offer empathy and communicate sensitively with clients.
