A bit about the role...
This is a lead role for our Global Talent & Performance Centre of Expertise (COE). To excel in this role, you will have a proven, relevant, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness in setting direction on how a multinational organisation approaches talent & performance management – together with the practical application of that in reality with tools and support. You’ll work as a sole contributor so you need to be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck into the detail, whilst also partnering with our leaders as a strategic business partner. But you’ll have the support of our other brilliant COE’s and the wider people team to help make things happen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the go-to expert in Talent and Performance, ownership and coaching of others to use the talent ‘playbook’ of principles, tools and approaches
- Manage the talent & performance cycle activity through working in collaboration with other COE’s and People Partner teams
- Support the CPO/ Talent Director to plan and facilitate the quarterly Global Exec Talent reviews, working with the business, People partner and TA teams to gather insight and data and follow up on actions agreed
- Be an active champion of the identification and development of senior HiPo talent, and through collaboration with Global L&D to develop & run talent programmes to build succession for key positions
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, L&D and Comms to significantly improve how we advocate internal careers, talent movement and internal fill (target 50%)
- Collaborate with Global L&D ensure we develop line manager capability to create a culture of regular and quality performance and career conversations and active talent spotting.
- Represent Costa in Coca-Cola Talent exchanges to advocate and facilitate movement of talent at play into suitable opportunities
- Define and implement the data and insight strategy for Global Talent – working with People Systems and Data to implement and maintain a system and methods of collecting data so that it can provide actionable insight to drive the talent agenda towards agreed goals
- Proactively seek new ways to drive improvement into the Talent & Performance approaches, drive simplicity and automation where possible.
- Collaborating with Talent Acquisition, OD and L&D to build out our future talent needs through working on a Build, Buy, Borrow plan (SWP)
- Bring outside experiences, thought leadership, insights and research into specialist domains of Talent & Performance

- Proven track record as an effective Talent Manager with a wide-ranging experience of talent management practices
- Experience of working with and implementing Talent, Succession and Workforce planning systems & data
- Previous experience of implementing and managing programmes and working on projects from end to end across the whole Talent and Performance Management cycle
- Strong collaboration style and interpersonal and stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Strong project management, organisational and design skills and able to gets results at pace
- Ability to navigate in a matrix environment, with a can-do attitude and a quick-thinking ability
- Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels and switch quickly between them
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
- A change agent – constantly involved with change, advocating change and making it happen.
