If so, this full-time fixed term maternity cover post within our Central Student Administration Office (CSAO) is an excellent opportunity for you to broaden your admin experience in a wide range of duties at the University of Kent.
We are looking for proactive individuals with good IT skills who are used to dealing with changing priorities and peak workloads.
As Central Student Support Assistant you can expect to get involved in:

acting as the point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the Main Reception and Student Reception, providing a courteous and professional welcome and effective information and guidance;

producing official documents for current and non-current students, including transcripts, degree certificates, council tax letters, reference requests, and status letters;

assisting in all aspects of student registration;
-
assisting with University examination processing and examination issues.
What we are looking for in the right candidate:

GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
-
good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
-
experience of working in a confidential environment and in line with Data Protection/ GDPR
-
an ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and to use your initiative
