Simpson Family Centre provides a range of services to parents and children both within the centre and in their home in the community. This includes family support, parenting assessments, ability to protect assessments, capacity to change/motivation assessments, rehabilitation assessments and/or educative work. All of our work takes a strengths'- based approach and we always work with the hope that parents can be supported to make positive changes in order to care for their children.
We currently have one part-time post for a Children's Services Administrator. This is an exciting and varied role and you would be providing administrative support directly to the Children's Service Manager to support service delivery to children and families.
The successful candidate will be part of team providing essential administrative support to the Childrens' Service Manager and teams based in Simpson Family Resource Centre. The service administrator is often the first point of contact for families and professionals attending or calling the centre and as such you will have an important role in establishing positive first impressions.
Further to the generic job description, the successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy client-facing office environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of using IT packages including Word Processing, spread sheets, databases, Windows applications, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex financial systems including financial reporting and audit.
- Demonstrable experience of budget preparation and forecasting.
- Demonstrable experience of inputting dad and producing reports for internal and external audiences as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrable experience of premises/facilities management
