Phoenix Property Maintenance Limited are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing company as a Finance assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for all basic book-keeping tasks. The role will also include some general office responsibilities for example answering phone calls, monitoring the general inbox, reporting to the Directors. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and extremely organised, able to work independently and as part of a team. Bookkeeping experience is essential along with confident excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Raise invoices and send to clients
- Credit Control and following up outstanding invoices
- Record supplier invoices on our system and pay bills in accordance with supplier terms
- Bookkeeping and providing financial reports at directors’ request
- Liaise with external Accountant and Dorset Office
- Answer telephone calls and monitor email inbox for ad hoc queries
Key Skills & Experience
- Accounts or bookkeeping experience including AAT Qualifications
- Full knowledge of QuickBooks essential
- Confident using Excel and Word
- Hardworking and motivated
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme desirable

Part-time hours: 25hrs Minimum
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
