Title: Warehouse, Logistics and Operations Assistant - Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £22.5k-£27k Per Annum (DOE)
Our client based in Brighton are seeking a Warehouse, Logistics and Operations Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be assisting with the daily operation and performance of the warehouse & logistics, to provide the expected service to customers. Duties:
- Reporting to the Head of Operations
- Assist with the daily operation and performance of the warehouse & logistics in order to provide the expected service to customers
- Liaise with clients and suppliers, you will also be required to work both from the Brighton warehouse but also in London and the South East/West two or three days a week, spending time on clients sites
- Overseeing installation, snagging and site revisits for maintenance
- The roll will offer effective operation that provides the highest levels of operational efficiency's, service excellence and productivity within the business
- All warehouse assets will need to be closely controlled to keep costs to a minimum
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and sales colleagues to make sure that internal service standards are as high as external ones
- Ensure Compliance & Health and Safety standards are maintained
- Exploring opportunities within the warehouse to develop advantage and exceed KPI targets
- Your success will be measured in the achievement of these service standards, as well as commercial objectives covering cost and stock-loss control, product availability and a wide range of people factors
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive with own transport due to the location - will be work from the warehouse in Brighton but will also be required to work a few days a week in the London warehouse, also visiting client sites, overseeing installations, and snagging etc.
- You must have warehousing and distribution experience, ideally backed up with an IOSHH qualification
- You will be an excellent planner and communicator; skilled at working to both budgets and timescales
- Hold a Folk Lift Licence
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
