Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team here at Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton as Joma Jewellery Brand Copywriter.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Product Design teams to plan and execute a monthly content calendar for the global Joma Jewellery brands. You will be responsible for supporting the Copy & Content Manager, showcasing your creativity and copywriting skills in producing captivating copy to be used across all channels internally and externally for the Joma Jewellery brands.

This is a hybrid role meaning you'll be based at our Head Office in Banbury, Oxfordshire once a week on average, this may flex up or down dependant on business needs and you will have flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Writing and delivering compelling copy across all channels, ensuring correct brand tone of voice throughout
  • Writing product descriptions for our Ecommerce sites (B2C and B2B) and brochure
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all product copy requested
  • Working collaboratively with Marketing and Creative teams to understand each project and the product range
  • Writing social captions and paid advertising copy
  • Writing copy for B2C emails, editorials and site content, maintaining consistent brand tone of voice
  • Supporting with copy for PR assets, including seasonal and collection press releases
  • Supporting with copy for printed marketing communications when required, e.g. order inserts
  • Supporting with other content projects across all brands owned by the company, depending on the business requirements
  • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Company

THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING

  • Proven experience in a marketing/communications/content role, in-house or agency
  • Experience in copywriting for both online and offline channels, including social media
  • A keen interest or knowledge of the fashion industry
  • Expert knowledge of the English language including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Articulate, conscientious, and meticulous, with a passion for language
  • Ability to create engaging, user-friendly content
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and easily
  • Ability to think creatively and conceptually, always keeping Brand front of mind
  • Ability to work well as an individual and as part of a team
  • Organised and detail-oriented to ensure consistency
  • Confident communicator across all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment
  • Knowledge of best practice for SEO is desirable

  • A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
