Job Description
We are a small but growing English tea room with a lot of nostalgic charm and character. We specialise in traditional afternoon tea service, and are home to a large selection of around 30 tea blends. We are looking for a versatile individuals with a positive attitude to grow with us, someone who is detail oriented and has a passion for customer service and hospitality. We are currently an independent shop with one outlet in Kensington, but we plan to grow to further locations in the near future, so more opportunities will become available.
Details of the job
- The role is a full time position, and paid at an annual salary of £20,000 - £24,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive additional payments through an even split of tips and gratuities for the day.
- We also have other bonus scheme opportunities available, such as performance bonuses, loyalty bonuses and end of year bonuses.
- For full time position applications, the schedule would be 35 hours per week, with day shifts ranging from 10am - 18pm, including paid breaks, and meals on duty. A typical week would include five shifts (with one at the weekend).
Duties of the job:
The role is mainly broken down in to:
- Setting tables, welcoming and seating customers, reservation and table management, taking orders and payments, and assisting with customer enquiries.
- Assisting with tea, coffee and drinks preparation, and the quality control of our tea ware.
- Maintaining our hygiene standards.
