Pay Details: Grade 7, SCP 26 - 30, £28,371 - £32020
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours
Main Place of Work: Civic Office, Barry/Remote

Description:
A passion for Business Analysis? Project Management? Process Redesign? A desire to challenge conventional ways of service delivery and be at the forefront of integrating services in local government?
We are looking to recruit a Business Improvement Partner to do all of these things as we drive forward a range of projects to improve local public services. Building on the successes so far you would be working within the Council’s Business Improvement team as a project lead alongside colleagues from a range of sectors to identify and deliver opportunities for change that will make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
About you
You will need:
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of business improvement tools and techniques, such as BPR, Lean and process mapping
- Awareness of project management principles (including waterfall and agile)
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Experience of using software packages to document, model and deliver projects, including project plans and reports.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.
- Positive attitude to change.
- Ability to evidence continuous personal professional development.
- Proven ability to work with technology to implement change
- Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet set deadlines both for self and others.
- A degree (or equivalent project experience).
