Job Description

Brewer Science, Inc., Certified Employee-Owned and Certified B Corp™, is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Sales Specialist Apprentice. This position will be located in Darley Abbey, Derbyshire.
Summary
This position will have the autonomy to manage our small customers within our European operation and manage the sales lifecycle process by identifying, hunting and qualifying leads, which will uncover new sales opportunities for Brewer Science. This position will be an opportunity to grow, upskill and develop sales skills and will be in collaboration of a Sales Executive Level 4 qualification.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
  • Generate quotations for customers within our European operation.
  • Present, promote and sell Brewer Science’s products using knowledge and expertise to existing and prospective customers.
  • Generate leads, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities with the objective of driving profitable growth.
  • Engage with assigned accounts, developing key relationships and drive Brewer Science activities to support and grow account base.
  • Understand customers' needs and challenges to create solutions and demonstrate value.
  • Identify potential customer's needs and formulate business proposals according to the customer's requirements.
  • Be the primary customer interface that drives all Brewer Science customer interactions, including but not limited to, being the customer expert, creating and influencing customer specific messaging, setting agendas for on-site visits and internal customer meetings, and providing voice of the customer.
  • Regular, direct contact with assigned customers, including but not limited to, face-to-face meetings and calls at all levels and locations of customers delivering high quality service and support. Provides voice of Brewer Science to customers.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
  • Research, establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Drive performance and revenue growth by leading sales and marketing strategies based on awareness of overall market and competitive conditions.
  • Gather market information by coordinating market research to gain insight on market needs and to capture the voice-of-the-customer, to ensure representation.
  • Utilize competitive analysis, market research, negotiation, and proposal recommendations to show prospective customers Brewer Science’s value in the marketplace.
  • To be self-motivated and have a growth mindset to manage time and enable personal development for success.
Collaboration, Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders and senior management, delivering regular and detailed reports on sales outcomes.
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers using your market knowledge, expertise and sales tools and resources.
  • Collaborate and work cross functionally with EU Sales (sales managers and sales support), HQ Inside Sales, Manufacturing, Shipping, and all business units (Semi, WLP, Flexible Electronics) to ensure all corporate sales goals are met.
Credentials and Education
  • A Levels
  • GCSE’s in Maths and English
  • 0-2 years prior experience within a business / sales environment
  • Undergraduate degree desirable
