Description
The vision of Skills Academy is to provide an excellent service for its Community, which educates, inspires, develops and creates opportunities through sport.
The Founder believes that he and his team can deliver sport in such a way that it benefits young people in more ways than just improving their sport skills.
The Skills Academy Ltd are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their small team who are full of fun whilst being productive. As a small team, there will be requirements to undertake tasks outside of the job description, however, the role predominantly consists of the following responsibilities -
- To prepare advertising materials suitable for both the Skills Academy (SA) and Select Sports Artists (SSA).
- - Advertising prepared for a range of platforms; posters, social media, banners, youtube.
- - Photos and film taken to help maximise advertising.
- - Re-designing and updating of both websites
- - Behind the scenes filming for specific sports related projects
- - Liaising with Managing director and also database of artists on SSA regarding upcoming shoots
- - Updating of profile cards for SSA talent
- - Designs for certificates and other hand outs
Entry requirements
Applicants should have achieved Grade C or 4 GCSE or above in English and Maths
Training to be provided
Digital Marketer Standard - Level 3
Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a Development Coach who is an expert from the industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, a salary, and substantial opportunities for promotion.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

- Developing social media campaigns
- Social media advertising
- Risk, Reputation & Crisis Response
- Project Management
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Email marketing
- Content management systems
- Writing for SEO
- Metrics, Analytics, Reports & Optimisation
- Principles of coding level 3: Vendor Qualification
- CIW Social media strategist: Vendor Qualification
- CIW Internet Business Associate: Vendor Qualification
