Job Description
This is a great opportunity to join a young, rapidly growing company. You will be working in a team to deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service. The successful candidate will communicate with customers, investigate accounts and resolve complex queries. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts. This is an established team which has expanded into a new business area, therefore as well as the day to day functions, we need someone that can learn quickly, help the team develop and streamline the procedures and provide input into the IT development.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to relevant and complex client enquiries and delivering excellent service;
- Organising customer repayment plans favourable to all parties;
- Taking a proactive role in managing company debtors;
- Working to improve current procedures and processes;
- Providing user requirements for the IT system.
Skills required:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred and/or a recent graduate, Upper Second or first;
- Professional, confident and diplomatic attitude;
- Accuracy and preciseness;
- Mathematically minded, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as required;
- An understanding of legal procedures and forming a legal argument (desired but not essential);
- Keen attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts related queries;
- Knowledge and experience of Excel and ideally accountancy software;
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues.
