Job Description
Speyside Distillery is a privately owned distillery in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains and our Visitor Centre 'The Snug' is located in the heart of Aviemore and is the centre of our customer facing services.
The Snug encompasses visitor information services, on-line bookings, mail order, whisky tasting room and art gallery.
Customer focused you will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales goals and assist the Snug Manager. Hours flexible, preferred 12noon - 6pm 4 days a week.
Reporting to the Snug Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Support the Manager in their role.
· Take bookings for the Distillery and Visitor Centre Events programme.
· Assist with tutored tastings and distillery visits.
· Assist with on line sales and distribution
· Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
· Complete administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
· Maintain outstanding presentation and visual display standards
· Propose innovative ideas to increase footfall.
· Report all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)
· Be a shining example of high performance and behaviour
· Additional duties as required
· Attend training and meetings as required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 - 16 per week
Salary: £12.00 per hour
