An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing Perioperative services team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with exceptional organisation skills to help support our Multidisciplinary services.
Due to the fast pace and frequently changing duties required for this role, this would suit a person with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
Perioperative services is a unique department due to the various areas and specialities we support, these include Anaesthetics, Theatres, Pain Management, Pre-assessment and Intensive care.
Due to the service being relatively new, the roles are ever evolving and allow for autonomy and personal and professional growth.
The duties for this role will include the following:
- Provide operational business management support, ensuring delivery of high-quality clinical services.
- Day to day line management of Office Managers for Pain Services and the Anaesthetic Administration Team.
- Responsibility for disciplinary, performance and grievance issues for the Care Group administrative staff as appropriate.
- Ensuring pathways and referral processes are maximised.
- To support the Anaesthetic admin team with the delivery of the CLW roster.
- Undertake a range of projects and delegated duties according to the needs of the specialty.
- Reviewing an updating the live Theatre Schedule when required.
- Authorising and reviewing MaThS requests.
- Liaising with the various teams to ensure the Healthroster is updated ready for finalisation.
- Assist in the delivery of the Clinical Governance/Patient Safety programmes of work, which includes mandatory training and appraisal, complaints and other quality measures including service/pathway redesign.
- Support the Operations Manager to develop and deliver Care Group Services.
- Any other reasonable management requests.
