Junior Project Manager
Are you passionate about building a career within project management?
We are looking for the next Junior Project Manager to join a company based in Chelmsford. This is a remote working position; however, you will be required to attend your initial training, plus monthly meetings in Chelmsford.
The salary for this position up-to £25,000 DOE and the hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
To be successful for this position you need to be extremely organised and self-motivated, along with confidence of working in a demanding environment. You will be supporting the Project Manager, so you will need to be adaptable and willing to learn, but also confident when taking initiative. You may be required to take control of situations to ensure project completions, so you will in turn receive excellent exposure and development towards your career path in project management!
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining the project status database to ensure the information is relevant, correct and up to date.
- Develop and maintain new and existing customers through overall account support
- Liaise with other departments to establish effective support in relation to the organisation's sales, production, and operating functions.
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure all necessary information is obtained, processed and feedback provided within the agreed timescales.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information at regular client meetings.
- Manage the collation of handover information to the agreed template, timescale, and quality.
- Host client meetings throughout the duration of the project and record accurate minutes with meaningful actions assigned.
- Manage the financial elements for each project and advise customers and internal estimators of any alterations to costs that need to be advised to customers.
- Report on changes to the Development and Project Team on any non-standard requirements to products or processes and ensure such knowledge is factored into the planning of the department's strategy, resources, and procedures.
