The role of a Patient Care Assistant is to support the nursing and wider practice team in achieving the highest standards of care. The Patient Care Assistant role will involve working in a variety of areas within the practice to support the team. It will be necessary to accept instruction from a variety of people including Management, Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses. Working enthusiastically within the team you will help maintain a happy, efficient, and effective working environment.
We would love to hear from individuals who are keen to learn new skills to the full in a supportive environment. This role is for a 40hour week and includes 1:4 Saturday shift.

We are a high standard primary care and referral Tier 3 Hospital with ten satellite clinics across the beautiful West and South Yorkshire regions. We have excellent facilities including on site CT, visiting MRI, dental suite, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, large range of scopes including flexible, rigid and laparoscopy, 3 theatres, excellent anaesthetic monitoring equipment including multiparameter monitors, internal lab with Haem/biochem/coags/iSTAT etc separate wards for surgical, medical, isolation, cats, exotics and outpatients.
