We have an exciting new opportunity for a Family Law paralegal to join our ambitious, high profile Family Team, based in our Bristol office.

The Team
The Family Team has an established reputation for expertise in dealing with high value, international, private wealth family matters. The Team's client base is primarily comprised of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, often with international connections. We are top ranked in Legal 500.
The Team advises clients at all stages of relationships, with a particular emphasis on wealth protection. We are known for our expertise, nationally and internationally, in relation to high value financial remedy cases on divorce and complex private law children work.
The Head of the Team, Daniel Eames, is ranked Band 1 in Chambers and Partners, and was also recently listed in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth 2023 Directory. Daniel is a recognised expert in international family law, chairs the International Committee of Resolution (the national organisation of family lawyers) and is a member of Lord Justice Moylan's International Family Law Committee. Sarah Green, Senior Associate, with a reputation as a rising star in Family Law in Bristol joined the growing team in 2021.
The Team continues to grow, and currently consists of a Partner, two Senior Associates, three Associates, a Senior Solicitor, two Paralegals and two Trainees.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and efficient paralegal with a passion for Family Law to join our experienced, ambitious and growing team.
The role is based out of our Bristol office and will involve supporting our leading lawyers in providing excellent, high quality service to our national and international clients. You will:
- Provide efficient legal assistance to fee earners
- Ensure client files are maintained in line with the firm's procedures and Family Team's best practice procedures
- Prepare of court bundles, papers for Counsel and collating disclosure Drafting forms, applications, and other documents
- File and serve documentation
- Draft and deal with correspondence as required
- Liaise with clients via email and telephone, including dealing with new enquiries
- Liaise with third parties including but not limited to the Court, Counsel's Chambers, experts and referrers.
- Complete legal research and maintain an ongoing awareness of current legislation and legal issues
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and/or information
- Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements

You will have experience working within a law firm environment as a paralegal, ideally with a family law background. You will:

Experience Required
- Law graduate / CILEX qualified / LPC / previous experience of working as a Paralegal
- Experience in Family law is preferable
- At least one year's experience of working in a legal environment is desirable
- Experience of delivering excellent client service to clients is desirable
- Strong IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
