We currently have the opportunity for a full-time Data Engineer to join our Data & Insight Team.

The team's work is fundamental to advancing the council's Transformation agenda, providing a bedrock of consistent and accurate data from across all of our Services, for use firstly by Insight Analysts and the wider organisation, helping transform Wiltshire Council into a data-driven decision-making organisation.
About the role
This is a chance to help shape the future of data within Wiltshire Council, assisting us on our journey to improve confidence in data and embedding a culture of data-driven decision making.
You will be part of an always learning team, striving to be the best we can be, supporting the diverse range of services across the Council.
You will be an influential member of the newly created team to support the delivery of business insight across the Council, working collaboratively with key data professionals across the organisation to deliver an effective and joined-up data platform.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and superb visualisation and engineering skills. They must be either educated to a degree level, have a professional qualification, or equivalent in a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
