Quantity Surveyor required to join our team working on Enoch Hill Wind Farm.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for
- Achieve the appropriate commercial result of projects through the provision of accurate financial reporting
- Build and maintain working relationships with the supply chain and clients
- Manage and monitor subcontractor supplier accounts, financially and contractually
- Place supply chain orders in accordance with procurement schedule
- Complete measurements and valuations of work executed, ensuring they meet with conditions of the contract
- Negotiate and draft subcontracts
- Monitor project expenditure against budget, provide analysis and explore opportunities to maximise value and minimise cost
- Liaise with clients and commercial issues
- Identify legitimate contractual claim situations and prepare suitable and documentation to clients
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines

As part of this role, you will be expected to regular travel to sites to complete meetings and inspections. All expenses will be covered by the company for this. We have our own in-house travel team that can be utilised should flights and accommodation be required for the visits.
Your required Skills and Experience
- BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
- 3-5 years post graduate experience in contracting preferably with a main contractor.
- Experience with NEC3/4 contracts including administration of notices (Early Warnings, Compensation Events) and preparation of CE quotations.
- Measurement skills – must be able to produce accurate take-offs unsupervised.
- Management of Sub-Contracts, assessing payment applications, variations and claims
- Preparation and issuing of Payment Notices
- Production of the interim Application for Payments and agreement of Final Accounts with employers.
- Site attendance 4-5 days/week.
- CSCS card.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
