Marketing Assistant

Then look no further! We are looking for a talented Marketing Assistant looking to take the next step in their career to help us grow Future Food Movement. This is a fluid role, working across Marketing, Sustainability, Communications, PR, Events and Creative. You will have 1-2 years working in a similar environment and role – Social Media experience is a must.
You will work with the FFM team on projects for leading UK food manufacturers. These projects are really pushing the boundaries of how sustainable food is made. From strategy, benchmarking, communications plans and marketing projects, to events, partnerships and collaborations.
You’ll be passionate about positive change for people and planet. You’ll love research, have a broad understanding of sustainable development and be passionate about creative design and communications activating people.

In this role you will:
- Make posts live and checking accuracy against approved copy including tags
- Monitor and respond to replies and comments working with the team to build a community
- Create twitter versions of approved posts
- Create IG story versions of approved posts
- Create templated posts and manage the research, client and internal information gathering to ensure content for social media and emails is timely
- Research and draft one blog per month
- Using FFM brand guidelines to create engaging and polished assets
- Track monthly social media/website/email analytics and able to advise on next actions
- Support on updating website weekly
- Collate testimonials for content
- Activate Founders proactive LinkedIn presence and growth
- Maintain Competitor Analysis
- Maintain coach content management – canva, website, tracker
- Manage LinkedIn group
- Proofreading all posts before making live
- Daily check of scheduling platform to make sure all posts have links and correct links
- Sales database research support
- Activation of general social media and digital comms
- Undertake general admin work and support the team.
- Contribute with data, analyses and insights to client meetings and new business development
We're looking for:
- Creative with a highly organised approach and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment (a must)
- Passion for Marketing and Marketing trends
- Digital Marketing and Social Media knowledge
- The ability to advise on Social Media trends and bring ideas to optimise past, present and future content to reach more food industry professionals
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Powerpoint, Word & Excel
- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Ability to learn quickly and use initiative
- Team player with ability to build working relationships at all levels
- Someone who is outgoing and personable, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary: £22-24k full time, remote position (office near Milton Keynes with regular meet ups)
Hours: Full time, to start ASAP
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
