Job Description: Workshop Assistant
We are a family-run business seeking a Garden Building Workshop Assistant to join our team. As a workshop assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality garden buildings and outdoor structures. You will work closely with our skilled craftsmen to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of garden buildings and outdoor structures, including measuring, cutting, and assembly of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, including the proper storage and disposal of materials.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in a workshop environment or with power tools and hand tools preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Salary: £11.80-£12.80 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

- Northampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
