Applications are invited for this key role to work in the Faculty of Engineering Education & Student Experience team. The team provides extensive and varied support to staff and students across the Faculty.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work as a Faculty Education & Student Experience Initiatives Officer. The role holder will provide project coordination to key projects, and support the management team in the wider implementation of the Education and Student Experience strategy. Examples of these initiatives and projects include: promotion and support for study abroad opportunities, workshop programmes, events and student communications.
Candidates should have A-levels, or equivalent, plus experience of working in a project or administrative support role or considerable relevant experience in a project administration or management role. The successful candidates should also possess excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, customer service skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is also essential.
The Faculty of Engineering has around 4,500 students and more than 600 staff in Nottingham and almost all its programmes mirrored at both the Malaysia and China campuses. To underpin the Faculty’s education and student experience (ESE) activities, the Faculty ESE team provides a comprehensive faculty-wide structure of support to both students and staff.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours.
