We are seeking a candidate that will be responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks by supporting the Senior Security Supervisor in and contributing to the safe working environment, preventing loss/damage to company property and maintaining the safety of our teams.
Some of the Key responsibilities:
Ensure that all security policies are adhered to, providing guidance where necessary
Regular patrolling of the site to prevent unauthorised access and prevent the appropriation of both employee and company property
Adhere to all company policies and ensure you are working within health and safety guidelines
Search staff in accordance with current procedures/policies.
Be professional and courteous at all times
Ensure staff/contractors/visitors are booked in correctly and relevant parties informed
Ensure all equipment is booked in/out
Book supplier's vehicles in and ensure all vehicles are sealed on arrival/departure
Supporting the JD SOC is dealing with incidents/alarms as per the policy
Any other reasonable activities in line with the needs of the business
Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
Operational knowledge/experience of an alarm receiving
Experience of working to health and safety requirements
Basic computer literacy skills
Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
Works well as part of a team; supportive of others
Communicate effectively at all levels
Respond to issues quickly, positively in a fast paced and changing environment
Previous experience of working in the security industry and supervisory experience would be an advantage
Knowledge of common law powers in relation to detaining potential offenders
