Job Title: Clinical Psychologist or Forensic Psychologist

Location: Holywell

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 22.5 hours per week - Will consider Full Time

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per annum

We're looking for an experienced psychologist with demonstrable leadership skills to join our expanding team as our Clinical Lead. Holding clinical responsibility within specialist adult residential services, you will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the adults we support. This is a wide and varied role ideal for those looking for a new challenge where you can truly have an impact on shaping a service and driving change.

About the role:

We are looking for an outstanding clinician, with strong and proven leadership and management skills. The post holder will hold clinical responsibility, managing and developing a multi-disciplinary team comprising of; but not limited to, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapy, Clinical Psychology, as well as Assistant Psychologists, Therapy Assistants and other appropriate professions as the allocated services require. Collaborating to ensure we meet the needs of the adults we support.

Working independently within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures you will support the integration of their specific service in the day-to-day running of each provision. You will work within existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support the services in future development and ensuring quality assurance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working with adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (eg complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults.
  • Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.
