Job Description
Calling all aspiring homegrown developers – degree or no degree!
Do you sit at home making up pretend scenarios to develop web apps for?
Do you wish you worked with other people who could share their knowledge and help you develop your potential to become a successful professional developer?
Spending your weekends on Pluralsight?
We want you!
We know that times are tough right now. We also know there are a lot of changes and uncertainties out there. Rubixx has consistently grown both before and during the pandemic and we’re recruiting to our Dev Team to help accommodate our ambitious growth plans for our platform.
What are we like as an employer? Well, we’re probably a bit like you, a bit different from the norm. That’s a good thing in our eyes, who wants to be the same as everyone else, how very dull that would be!
We’re looking for skills in C# and ASP.NET, or something complimentary that we can morph into C# and ASP.NET.
What will you get from us? Well, we have a modern fun workplace, a fantastic customer base who love our products and a tight-knit team who look after each other and all grow together. We’re all different with different strengths and areas for growth. There are no egos, politics or judgements.
We have flexitime, parking, a relaxed atmosphere, an involved and engaged management team, a modern comfortable workplace with as much tea coffee and hot chocolate as you can drink, onsite café for when you need a sugar rush to get you through that tough bit of code, and subsidised gym membership when you want to work out the anger over the same bit of code and an onsite pub to kick back after work and play free pool. We have an active league for our in-house table football (foosball) and a monthly trophy for the winner! More importantly, we’ll invest time and resource into making you into a fantastic developer.
How will you show us you can fit into our squad of broken robots? We don’t mind. Most people send a CV, which is fine, we’d love to see it but make sure it shows us your work and your abilities so a portfolio link or Git link would be great. If not, then find a way to show us your talent and stand out from the crowd. Please don't send your CV if you aren't actively developing or cannot demonstrate it with Git or a portfolio, we want software lovers, not software could be lovers if they could be bothered.
