Working Hours: Full-time (45 hours per week across 5-day working week)
Location: Grind Roastery in Bermondsey SE16 3PB & Shoreditch Office, EC2A 4NJ
Salary: £35k-£40k per annum plus great company perks & benefits
Grind are now looking for an experienced process and results-driven operations manager* to assist in the production of our UK and International supply chain operations within the grocery and OOH sector.
You will need to have a strong awareness of the Supply Chain industry and have the ability to multitask dealing with multiple inbound and outbound orders, at different stages within the delivery cycle.
You will be responsible for the planning and prioritising of all shipment schedules, and general management of lead times to ensure all deadlines are met. Therefore, you will need to be highly organised and efficient at all times.
Furthermore, this role will require you to communicate effectively with multiple external suppliers and our internal logistics team to maintain strong relationships at all levels.
Core responsibilities:
- Skills to help with accurate forecasting

Strong experience in Supply Chain with a detailed knowledge of demand planning, supply planning and inventory management processes and protocols
- Planning and prioritising of all inbound and outbound deliveries and management of the supply central base in line with our objectives
- Liaise with warehouse and a third party fulfilment centres
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Ownership of ordering all raw materials in to make sure demand planning is up to date
- Liaise with haulier services
- Responsible for ensuring all associated suppliers and back up suppliers are BRC accredited for auditing purposes
- Maintain and record all relevant supplier information, ensure all updates including pricing are communicated with the wider team
- Maintain strong supplier relationships
- Main point of contact for all outbound & inbound queries (internally & externally)
Skills, knowledge and experience requirements
- Demand & Supply Planning experience
- Proven extensive knowledge or experience within the FMCG industry
- Management of system processes to help improve service delivery and efficiencies
- Able to use own initiative and demonstrate a pragmatic and organised approach to duties
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible approach to changing circumstances with willingness to take on new tasks and work overtime to meet delivery deadlines
