Job Description
To maintain accurate records and robust processes and to undertake required reviews and analysis to deliver the monthly and annual financial reporting and planning cycles.
To support the Divisional Finance Manager (DFM) and Assistant Finance Manager (AFM) in undertaking a broad range of financial support to the Division.

- To ensure that accurate records and robust processes are in place to deliver the monthly and annual financial management reporting and planning cycles.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for specific departments and produce monthly budget statements within the month-end reporting deadlines.
- To liaise with the Financial Services team to ensure that the Division meets all its month end deadlines.
- Within the Division be proactive in suggesting areas for further analysis and review.
- To action budget change requests from Divisions in line with the Trusts financial policies and procedures.
- To undertake pay budgeting, which includes monitoring actual to establishment, reviewing the staffing establishment with budget holders and undertaking ad hoc pay costings.
- To produce income and expenditure forecasts for delegated Divisional Budgets, taking into account cost pressures and the year to date position for review by the Finance and Performance Manager.
- To produce ad hoc reports where requested, using spreadsheets and databases, and where appropriate analysing data for trends and discrepancies.
